                                椰壳活性炭外观呈不规则型黑色片状颗粒,因为内部发达的孔隙结构,巨大的比表面积,合理的孔容积,让其具备了优异的吸附性能,主要应用于工业给水、排水、自来水、饮用水、高纯水的净化处理,废气处理中也会选用椰壳炭。但在会废水废气净化处理中也会出现椰壳活性炭的吸附净化效果不理想的情况,影响椰壳活性炭吸附能力的主要因素有以下几点:
                                1、选取的椰壳活性炭产品品质,原生、高碘值椰壳活性炭的比表面积巨大,比表面越大,活性炭的吸附能力就越强。因为活性炭是非极性分子,容易吸附非极性或者极性很低的吸附质。
                                2、椰壳活性炭颗粒大小,毛细孔道越发达,分布结构越合理,表面化学性质对活性炭的吸附效果也有很大影响。
                                3、被吸附物质的性质,主要因被处理的废水废气的溶解度、表面自由能、极性、吸附质分子的大小和不饱和度、附质的浓度等
                                4、废水PH值,椰壳活性炭一般在酸性溶液中比在碱性溶液中有较好的吸附性能。PH值会对吸附质在水中存在的状态及溶解度等产生影响,从而影响吸附效果。
